Staying Safe in Arizona's Sweltering Summers

Each year from June to September Arizona becomes one of the hottest places on earth. Temperatures soar, frequently reaching upwards of 110 F. According to the National Weather Service, Phoenix averages 110 days of 100 F plus temperatures each year.

During this time, heat-related illnesses are extremely common and if not treated properly, can prove fatal. We are all at risk; however, you can easily avoid the negative effects of heat. Always remember, prevention is the best defense against Arizona's extreme heat.
