Community Council Meetings
Each month, Magellan hosts two community council meetings in order to get input from behavioral health recipients, family members, clinicians, advocates, and others who are leaders in the community. One community council will be focused on the adult system of care and the other community council will be focused on the children's system of care. Senior staff from Magellan will be in attendance in order to hear input, recommendations, learn about any service barriers and brainstorm solutions for overcoming those barriers.
These councils are designed to bring advocates and key leaders together in a forum to help us better understand obstacles and barriers and guide the development of shared vision and solutions for approaching these obstacles and barriers. If you have any questions about the community councils, please e-mail CommunityCouncils@MagellanHealth.com.
